During the thirty years of working in the world of music Robert Glaser has created five distinct ensembles tailor-made for your entertainment needs. Ensembles specialize in Weddings, Corporate Events, Fundraising Galas and Private Parties.

Robert's groups have performed at The Summer Arts Fair, Aksarben Coronation Ball, Joslyn Art Museum Jazz on the Green, Taste of Omaha, and 24 years at the Omaha Symphony Debutante Ball.

Robert has also found time to produce six CD's. His latest CD, Paris Dreams, can be purchased for $10 by emailing Robert at: Regpiano@cox.net.

The Sing, Sing, Swing Orchestra
Led by pianist, composer, Robert Glaser performs both traditional and contemporary Big Band selections featuring the music of Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Pancho Sanchez among others.
Vocalists sing well know hits of Johnny Mercer, Natalie Cole, Ann Hampton Calloway, Fred Astaire, Frank Sintara, and Michael Buble.
Twelve piece ensemble: Featuring Male & Female Vocalists
Five piece Horn Section: Three Saxophones, Trumpet, and Trombone
Five piece Rhythm Section: Keyboards, Bass, Guitar, Drums, and Percussion

Urban Delight
A five piece variety band fronted by female vocalist: Julie Baker. Additional vocals by guitarist Rod Griffith, Drummer Danny Gilpatrick, and Robert on keys. Urban Delight plays all the hits that fill the dance floor. 'Oh, What a Night' your party will be grooving to Motown, B-52s, Tom Petty, Earth Wind & Fire and Bruno Mars.

Piano, upright bass, saxophone & drums UJQ plays "Blue Note" Jazz of Horace Silver, Dave Brubeck, Count Basie and Duke Ellington. Perfect for Cocktail or Dinner Parties.
Styles include Swing, Latin, New Age and "Second Line Cajun". Unique arrangements of Broadway and Beatles tunes and original compositions from Robert's five CD releases.

The Blues and Classic Rock of the Gravydippers like good gravy has many ingredients and has simmered thru many years of gigs and musical experiences.
Influences include Boz Scaggs, Rolling Stones, T-Bone Walker, B.B. & Albert King, Asleep at the Wheel, Santana, the Talking Heads, Paul Simon,The Beatles, James Brown, Van Morrison, Louis Jordan, Jeff Healey, Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, the Allman Brothers Band and Sly & the Family Stone.

Robert Glaser
began playing piano in 5th grade, learning chord theory and hundreds of tunes at the Dean Shorts Omaha School of Modern Music. After playing in several garage bands during high school, Robert was the organist for the Ida Mae rock band entertaining crowds at many prom, homecoming, and other school events across the midwest. Robert learned classical music while graduating with a music education degree from UNO in 1977. For the next four years Robert served as Program Administrator at Joslyn Art Museum. He left Joslyn in 1981 to pursue a full time career in music. Roberts first group, the Urban Jazz Quartet was formed in 1982, and his twelve-piece Sing, Sing, Swing Orchestra performed at Jazz on the Green in 2006 and 2014. Demands for event and dance music lead to the formation of Urban Delight an ensemble playing popular music with a wider appeal for dining and dancing. For 25 years Robert was the featured pianist for the Omaha Von Maur department store. He has released six CD albums of original music. After many years of working in a world of music, Robert Glaser created The Gravy Dippers to take audiences on a fun musical trip with his favorite music styles including classic rock, jazz, blues, country, broadway, and Cajun. The Gravy Dippers are available for all entertainment needs including live music, dancing music, weddings, Corporate events, fundraising galas, and private parties.

played oboe, saxophone, piano, and drums in elementary and high school bands. To help fund his college studies, Darrel began playing and recording guitar, bass guitar, and keyboards with Omahabased lounge acts including Sleepy Hollow, The Invaders, and The Grease Band. After graduating from college, Darrel managed a 40 year business executive career with extensive international traveling requirements, but continued performing with The Grease Band, Bittersweet, The Digits, and Skuddur when available in Omaha due to his enjoyment of music and band member camaraderie. Also, Darrel enjoyed playing many events with the Betty Swollocks jazz band based in Southend-on-Sea, Essex whilst living near London, England in the early 1990s. Since retiring from his business career, Darrel writes and records music in his home studio and plays with several local bands, most recently guitar, bass, and keyboards with Robert Glaser and The Gravy Dippers band. Darrel enjoys entertaining audiences with the variety of fun classic Rock, Rhythm & Blues, Pop, and Jazz played by the Gravy Dippers that has wide public appeal. Darrel completed undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and post-graduate studies at the University of Michigan, and is a retired member of the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants, member of the AICPA, and member officer of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Darrel is a retired Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, and Certified Information Systems Auditor.

is currently a student at UNO majoring in Jazz Studies. Henry has been playing bass since age 11, and has performed at many venues throughout the metro in a wide variety of genres including blues, funk, jazz, metal, and hip-hop. Bands that he has performed with include The Redwoods, Come Back Sandy, Midwest Coast, The Gravy Dippers, MAYJO, and From the Arc. Henry studied upright bass with Bobby Scharmann for three years, and now studies under Andy Hall at UNO.

a third generation musician, received his first drum set at the age of two from his father Joe, a locally renown percussionist. A few years later Daniel started playing polka at restaurants with his grandfather Herbert Brinkman, an established accordion player in south Omaha, and hasn't looked back. Daniel participated in marching, jazz and concert bands, and at the age of 15 started his professional music career with his vocalist mother Diane at corporate events and weddings, a vocalist. Daniel enjoys a wide variety of music encompassing country, jazz, blues, R&B, rap, edm, rock, and metal. Daniels 25 year music career includes performances at local village bars up to concert halls and ballrooms, and he looks forward to his new musical adventures with the Gravy Dippers.
